I got my start as a fitter and turner at a university, where the job was tailored to a jack of all trades. One of my first projects was building a model circulation system for biomedical science students—a custom piece made from scratch using metal, Perspex, brass, woodwork, and electrical components. Since then, I’ve worn many hats: technician, safety and facilities manager, construction project manager, and even infrastructure advisor for state schools. Each role taught me something valuable, but I have found myself drawn back to my most natural talents on the tools.

Over the years, I’ve honed a broad set of skills that include machining, woodworking, welding, electrical work, and even tree services (I do love using a chainsaw!). I hold a Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering and a restricted electrical license, ensuring I’m equipped to handle everything from precision repairs to creative problem-solving on your toughest jobs.
